What it is about

Dreams that feel like memories

Seventeen-year-old Faith Elara has always known that there is more to the world than what can be seen.

Mysterious synchronicities follow her. Dreams feel like memories. And again and again, she finds herself standing on a bridge made of living light — drawn toward someone she cannot quite remember.

Then she meets Gabriel Blackwood. The recognition is immediate. Unsettling. Impossible to explain.

Before there were names, there was light.

Not the kind born from stars. Not the kind that belongs to suns or fire. Something older. Softer. More alive. There were no beginnings there. No endings. No distance. Only presence. And him.

About the author

Janine Havanci

Janine Havanci is a German author and language teacher with a background in literature and linguistics and a lifelong fascination with consciousness and the questions that exist somewhere between science and the unexplained.

Faith Elara: The Bridge of Lights is her debut novel and the first book in The Bridge of Lights Chronicles. Her writing combines emotional fantasy, philosophy, mythology, and the idea that some connections may reach further than we can understand.

She lives in Germany and believes that the most interesting stories often begin with a simple question:

What if there is more?

Some bonds survive distance.

Some survive time. And some seem to survive even death.
